Trauma Recovery - Our Philosophy

About Us

Embodied Awareness - Slowing Down and Reconnecting

We believe that true health and enduring change happen when the body and mind are actively engaged in experiencing. This journey is about learning to slow down and becoming more aware of all that is within and around us, is one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves. By practicing mindful embodiment, we connect to our true selves, others, and the natural world, allowing for a more authentic, kind, and connected way of being.

What We Offer

Trauma and Attachment-Informed Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Our work is rooted in mindfulness, embodied awareness, and relationship-based principles. We work with horses to foster healing and transformation by helping clients learn to tap into the current beneath the words that unfold in experiential interactions throughout sessions that help individuals access their deeper emotions and experiences.

Embodied Mindfulness for Transformation

Mindfulness is about becoming aware and fully present in each moment. It allows us to witness what is happening inside and outside of ourselves without judgment. By practicing mindfulness, we build the capacity to regulate our emotions, tend to our nervous systems, and develop a greater sense of heartfelt connection.

The Power of Embodiment

The embodiment practice teaches us that our body and mind are not separate. They are a single, integrated being. By tuning into our body’s sensations, emotions, and physical presence, we become more attuned to our experiences and the world around us.

Is This Right for You?

If you’re seeking a new approach to therapy or coaching, consider these questions:

• Are you ready to slow down, feel more present in your body, and experience greater peace and joy?

• Have you tried other forms of counseling without the results you hoped for?

• Do you want to improve the quality of your relationships with yourself and others?

• Are you ready to develop new skills for a more vital and purposeful life?

If any of these resonate with you, our trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approach could be the right fit.
